We would like to inform you of a major update regarding the WorldLand network infrastructure.

Updated boot node DNS server function
In the existing WorldLand node program (v1.1.2 and earlier versions), when running the initial node, it first connected to the boot node and then searched for and connected other nodes in the network to increase the number of peers. However, during this process, the boot node was occasionally overloaded, and many people often experienced difficulties during the initial peer connection and synchronization process.
Starting with the WorldLand node program v1.1.3, when running the initial node, it connects to a DNS server that has a similar function to the boot node, allowing you to search for and directly connect to nodes other than the boot node.
With this update, we expect that the peer connection during the initial synchronization process will be much smoother than before.

How to upgrade to WorldLand node v1.1.3
● Reinstall the node by referring to the ‘Miner — Install Node’ tab in the official WorldLand documentation. https://docs.worldland.foundation/miner/install-node
- If you installed the node using the Installer on Windows OS, you can reinstall it with the latest version of the installer without deleting the existing node separately.
- In other cases (if you downloaded the Github code and built the node yourself), you can delete the existing node installation folder and reinstall the node in exactly the same way as the existing installation method.
If mining does not proceed normally after the upgrade, you may need to reset the block data.
After terminating the node, delete the folder below and try mining again.
Windows: C:\Users{username}\AppData\Local\Ethereum
Linux: ~/.ethereum
Mac: ~/Library/Ethereum

부트노드 DNS 서버 기능 업데이트
기존 WorldLand 노드 프로그램에선(v1.1.2 이하 버전), 초기 노드 실행 시 부트노드와 우선 연결한 뒤 네트워크에 속한 다른 노드들을 찾아 연결하는 식으로 Peer를 늘려나갔습니다. 하지만 그 과정에서 간헐적으로 부트노드에 부하가 발생하여, 종종 초기 Peer 연결 및 동기화 과정에서 어려움을 겪는 분들도 꽤 많으셨던 것으로 파악됩니다.
WorldLand 노드 프로그램 v1.1.3 버전부터는, 초기 노드 실행 시 부트노드와 유사한 기능을 하는 DNS 서버에 접속하여 부트노드 이외 다른 노드들을 탐색하고 직접 연결할 수 있게 됩니다.
이번 업데이트를 통해, 초기 동기화 과정에서의 Peer 연결이 이전에 비해 훨씬 원활해질 것으로 예상하고 있습니다.

WorldLand 노드 v1.1.3업그레이드 방법
● WorldLand 공식 문서의 ‘Miner — Install Node’ 탭을 참고하여 노드를 재설치합니다.

- Windows OS에서 Installer를 사용해 노드를 설치한 경우에는, 별도의 기존 노드 삭제 과정없이 최신 버전의 installer로 재설치 해주시면 됩니다.
- 이 외의 경우(Github code를 다운받아 직접 노드를 빌드한 경우) 기존 노드 설치 폴더를 삭제한 후 기존 설치 방법과 완벽히 동일하게 노드를 재설치 해주시면 됩니다.
만약 업데이트 이후 채굴이 정상진행되지 않는다면, 블럭 데이터 리셋이 필요할 수 있습니다.
노드 종료 후 아래 폴더를 삭제하고 다시 채굴을 진행해보세요.
