2. WIP 란 무엇인가요?
누구나 WorldLand 네트워크 개선을 위한 제안을 할 수 있으며, WorldLand는 이러한 개선 제안들을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해 Ethereum의 EIP, Bitcoin의 BIP와 유사한 WIP(WorldLand Improvement Proposal)라는 체계를 가지고 있습니다.
모든 WIP는 공식 깃허브 WIP 레포지토리를 활용하여 투명하게 관리되며, WIP를 통해 제안된 사항들은 탈중앙화된 의사 결정 과정을 보장하기 위해 DAO 커뮤니티의 투표를 통해 채택 여부가 결정됩니다.
3. 실제 사례(WIP-5)를 통한 이해
지금까지 제안된 WIP 중 하나인 WIP-5는 난이도 알고리즘의 민감도 업데이트에 대한 제안으로, 네트워크 안정성 개선 효과에 대한 적법성을 인정받아 안나푸르나 하드포크를 통해 실제로 적용되었습니다.
WIP-5는 WorldLand에서의 개선 제안이 적법하게 받아들여져 실제 코드 패치까지 이루어질 수 있다는 것을 보여주는 좋은 예시이며, WIP 체계의 효과와 커뮤니티 참여의 중요성을 보여줍니다.
4. WIP 참여 방법

- WorldLand 재단과 커뮤니티가 제안된 내용을 검토하고 평가합니다.
- 기술적 타당성, 경제적 유용성, WorldLand 비전과의 일치성을 고려합니다.
4-4. WIP 평가 및 구현
- 평가 결과를 기반으로 하여, WorldLand 재단과 커뮤니티는 WIP의 채택 여부를 투표로 결정합니다.

1. Open source philosophy and WorldLand’s direction
The open source philosophy in software development enables transparency, cooperation, and community-based development by opening the source code of software so that anyone can freely use, modify, and share it.
WorldLand actively pursues this open source philosophy for the development and transparent operation of blockchain technology. This means that in WorldLand, anyone can suggest changes and improve the network.
2. What is WIP?
Anyone can make suggestions for improving the WorldLand network, and WorldLand has a system called WIP (WorldLand Improvement Proposal), similar to Ethereum’s EIP and Bitcoin’s BIP, to effectively manage these improvement proposals.
All WIPs are transparently managed using the official GitHub WIP repository, and proposals made through WIPs are voted on by the DAO community to ensure a decentralized decision-making process.
3. Understanding through actual cases (WIP-5)
WIP-5, one of the WIPs proposed so far, is a proposal for updating the sensitivity of the difficulty algorithm, and was actually applied through the Annapurna hard fork in recognition of its legitimacy for improving network stability.
WIP-5 is a good example of how improvement suggestions in WorldLand can be legitimately accepted and lead to actual code patches, demonstrating the effectiveness of the WIP system and the importance of community participation.

4. How to participate in WIP
Contributing to WorldLand through WIP is very simple.
4–1. prior discussion
- Before drafting your WIP, discuss your ideas thoroughly with members of the WorldLand community.
- Refine your proposal with feedback from the foundation and community members.
4–2. Submitting an official WIP
- Submit the WIP draft as a Pull Request to the official GitHub WIP repository. (https://github.com/cryptoecc/WIPs)
- WIP should clearly describe the proposed change, its purpose, expected effects, and implementation plan.
- The foundation’s WIP representative will verify format requirements and assign a WIP number.
4–3. WIP review and evaluation
- The WorldLand Foundation and the community will review and evaluate proposals.
- Consideration is given to technical feasibility, economic utility and alignment with the WorldLand vision.
4–4. WIP evaluation and implementation
- Based on the evaluation results, the WorldLand Foundation and the community will vote on whether to adopt the WIP.
- The adopted WIP is reflected in the WorldLand roadmap and implemented sequentially.
